A clarification from InfoGard's Algorithm Testing Lead:
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to clarify that FIPS 180-4 has not yet been added to FIPS 140-2 Annex A nor does the CAVS tool support it. I expect that an update will come from the CMVP/CAVP soon. Until that time, FIPS 180-3 is still the SHA standard that is “FIPS Approved”.
Update: FIPS 180-4 has been added to FIPS 140-2 Annex A and the CAVS tool supports testing.
